Job summary

A financial services company in Petaling Jaya is looking for a qualified finance professional to manage IPO-related tasks, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with reporting regulations. Candidates should possess a Chartered Accountancy qualification and ideally have 5 years of experience in finance within a public listed company. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required for communication with clients and partners.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

Manage IPO-related tasks, ensuring readiness for listing, including compliance, reporting, governance, and investor requirements.

Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with MFRs and public listed company requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of quarterly (QR), annual reports (AR), and other statutory filings to Bursa Malaysia and regulatory bodies.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to facilitate smooth audits and compliance processes.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, Bursa regulations, and corporate governance requirements.

Oversee full spectrum of Group finance functions, covering financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and statutory reporting.

Manage group consolidation, taxation, treasury, audit, and compliance activities.

Provide regular updates and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Perform other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Professionally qualified with Chartered Accountancy / Certified Public Accountancy / Certified Management Accountant.
• Preferably 5 years of experience in finance and accounting in a public listed company.
• Experience in public listed company, managing the financial processes of a company and knowledgeable in Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirement and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
• Experience in reporting requirements for listed companies.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (to speak with Mandarin-speaking clients or overseas partners).
