Senior Associate, Client Accounting

Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and you will be one of our team assisting the clients specializing in accounting to have their accounting reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting function for assigned trust accounts or client accounts, ensuring all financial activities comply with trust agreements, regulatory guidelines, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret accounting data to ensure accurate book-keeping, proper classification of transactions, and integrity of financial records.
  • Prepare the full set of accounts and unaudited financial statements for trust accounts within established timelines, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting requirements.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties and special assignments related to trust accounting, reporting, and process improvement as required.
Qualifications
  • 3 years experience in accounting role. Added advantage for candidate with client facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any relevant professional certificate such as ACCA/CIMA/MIA/MICPA.
  • Good communication skills and able to read, write and speak in English.
  • Detail oriented with good time management skills.
