We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Reviewing financial statements and providing analysis to senior management on financial performance, variances, and trends.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. Ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Month‑End and Year‑End Closing: Managing and ensuring the smooth and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial periods.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts, and monitoring budget performance to ensure financial objectives are met. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Internal Controls: Establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Tax Coordination: Coordinating with tax accountants to ensure accurate and timely tax filings, including handling indirect taxes, corporate taxes, and other tax‑related responsibilities.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies. Provide financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
