Job summary

A leading services company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Accounts and Human Resources Executive to oversee financial accounting and manage HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, plus excellent communication abilities.

Job description
  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and tax compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision‑making
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes
  • Manage employee onboarding, training, and performance reviews
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR‑related inquiries and issues
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operations

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior account executive or similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software SQL and MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in handling HR‑related tasks, including employee relations and compliance
