Job description

Financial Management: Handle full set of accounts and oversee all financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Monthly & Yearly Closings: Ensure timely and precise monthly and yearly account closings, maintaining high standards of financial reporting.

Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and submit financial and management reports according to schedules, including inter-company and bank reconciliations, and various monthly schedules.

Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain accounting records and systems in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

Team Leadership: Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance, advice, and support to ensure efficient resolution of issues.

Taxation & Auditing: Handle taxation and statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors, tax agents, government bodies, and other professionals.

Cross-functional Communication: Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization for daily related tasks.

Adaptability: Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: Candidates with a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin (both verbal & written) is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.

Professional Experience: 2-3 years of working experience in tax, audit, or accounts, though candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.

Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a positive working attitude.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Ethics: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently under minimal supervision and thriving under pressure to meet deadlines.

Technical Proficiency: Competence in MS Excel, Word, and SQL Accounting System.
