A leading financial management firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Account Executive to oversee financial management and reporting for multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the F&B or retail sector. Key responsibilities include managing accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software.
The Senior Account Executive oversees full-spectrum financial management and reporting for multiple outlets and the head office. This role ensures accurate accounting, compliance, timely financial reporting, effective cost control, and supports overall business expansion and franchise activities. You will manage key finance operations including outlet cash flow, supplier payments, payroll coordination, inventory reconciliation, tax compliance, and preparation for financial audits.
Manage the full set of accounts for HQ and outlets, including franchise consolidation.
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and management reports.
Perform month-end closing, reconciliations, and ensure timely financial submissions.
Oversee outlet cash deposits, POS sales, bank reconciliations, and daily sales verification.
Review petty cash, expenses, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Monitor franchise fees, royalties, and invoicing accuracy.
Process supplier payments, utilities, rentals, and contractor invoices.
Manage AP aging, credit terms, invoicing, credit notes, and AR collections.
Coordinate the payroll cycle with HR and verify staff claims.
Support monthly stock count activities and validate inventory movement.
Monitor cost control, wastage, GP margins, and assist in COGS analysis.
Handle SST submissions and related compliance documentation.
Assist with annual audit and tax matters, and maintain proper financial records and controls.
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the F&B or retail industry.
Solid understanding of full-set accounts and SST requirements.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, Xero).
Strong Excel skills with the ability to produce accurate financial reports.
