Job summary

A leading property management company in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to manage accounts, supervise a finance team, and handle audits. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and responsible for smooth month-end closing.
• Assist Finance Manager in budget preparation and projections.
• Supervise and guide finance team members.
• Manage year-end audit and taxation.
• Liaise with relevant parties for work requirements and compliance.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts and responsible for smooth month-end closing, monthly reports, and other financial reports.

Assisting Finance Manager in the preparation of budgets & projections

Supervise and guide finance team members.

Developing in-depth knowledge of organization products and process

Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Manage year-end audit and taxation.

Liaise with relevant parties and authorities for work requirements and compliance.

Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters

Assist in the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting and Finance.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Finance/Account background.

Committed & a strong sense of urgency towards the deadline.

Preferred language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese is an added advantage.

Driven, analytical, hands-on, and detail-oriented.

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.

Good math skills and ability to spot a numeric error.
