A logistics company in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced individual to manage full sets of accounts and payroll administration. The successful candidate will prepare management reports and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Proficiency in multiple languages and attention to detail are essential for this position.
Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for smooth month-end closing, monthly reports and other financial matters.
Prepare monthly & yearly management reports, including reconciliations and journals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Handle full-cycle payroll administration, ensuring on-time and accurate processing of salaries and statutory payments.
Ensure timely submission of reports (SST and E-invoicing).
Perform daily AP and ensure all invoices, claims and payments are processed on time.
Perform cash flow management - allocate, plan and monitor funds to ensure efficient cash flow.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers on related duties and documentation.
Assist with license applications, renewals, and office-related matters as needed.
Provide support and guidance to junior team members, and perform ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirement:
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
Exposure in SQL Accounting system and good knowledge of Excel will be an added advantage.
Team player with good communication skills and positive work attitude.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in Malay, English, and Mandarin is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Preferably able to start work within short notice.
