Job description

SCORE EPCC is a Bintulu based Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning turnkey project management specialist. We are a CIDB Grade 7 company providing 360° services to support clients setting up and operating factories in Malaysia under the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete cycle of accounting operations, including daily transaction entries, year‑end closing journals and monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL) for all accounts, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals and intercompany transactions.

  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP): process and verify supplier invoices, reconcile statements and manage timely payment runs.

  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR): prepare invoices, monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables to sustain healthy cash flow.

  • Ensure inventory system reconciliation against accounting records.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and assist in annual financial statements for audit.

  • Prepare and submit regulatory returns (GST/SST, income tax) and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and the company secretary.

  • Process monthly payroll in compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) and manage employee claims and expense reports.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Finance, Accountancy or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and MS Office.

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
