Job summary
Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens in Malaysia is seeking an ISP SEN Teacher to deliver engaging and culturally relevant SEN-focused education across the KSSM framework. You will lead and coordinate SEN provision, develop Individualised Education Programmes (IEPs), and deliver targeted interventions to support diverse learners.
The role involves tracking pupil progress, identifying pupils needing SEN support, collaborating with families and external professionals, and guiding inclusive teaching
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with PGDT or Diploma in Education is required.
- Qualification in supporting students with special educational needs.
- Minimum two (3) years’ experience teaching/supporting students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and culturally relevant Visual Arts instruction in accordance with the KSSM curriculum.
- Lead and coordinate SEN provision across the school.
- Develop and monitor Individualised Education Programmes (IEPs).
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Track, assess, and report pupil progress and achievement.
- Identify pupils requiring SEN support and examination access arrangements.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Provide guidance and training on inclusive teaching practices.
- Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Recommend and manage SEN resources and budget priorities.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment and pupil wellbeing.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens is comprised of Tenby International School Setia Eco Gardens which offers a British education up to the IGCSE level, and Sekolah Tenby Setia Eco Gardens which offers the Malaysian National Curriculum at the Secondary level. The school caters to students aged 3 to 17 years from around the world. The school is focused on the holistic development of the students who attend to become global citizens who have the skills and confidence to compete globally.
