Job summary

TF-AMD Penang seeks a Quality Technician to support semiconductor assembly and testing in a fast-paced production environment. You will set up equipment, collect data, and assist with yield improvement and process efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documenting results to ensure product quality. The role requires 2–3 years in engineering/manufacturing, a Diploma or SKM3, and willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field or SKM Level 3 in a relevant technical field.
• Basic troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and processes for evaluations and production.
• Collect data and prepare evaluation reports.
• Support yield improvement and process efficiency.
• Monitor issues; coordinate with engineering to minimise downtime.
• Assist troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Perform product testing and quality checks.
• Read schematics to troubleshoot hardware.
• Maintain records and follow safety and 5S requirements.
