Job summary

POET Technologies Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to plan and execute reliability testing for semiconductor modules and components.

You will work hands-on, collecting data, analyzing results, and supporting failure analysis to ensure products meet quality standards across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external labs, following JEDEC and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or related engineering field.
• 2+ years hands-on semiconductor reliability testing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of JEDEC standards, qualification methods and basic failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute reliability testing and qualification for modules and components.
• Prepare reliability test plans and sample requirements per standards.
• Set up and monitor reliability test equipment; track progress and maintain it.
• Collect and analyze test data; identify anomalies and trends for reports.
• Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations using structured tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on samples, schedules and issues.
• Contribute to improving reliability testing methods and documentation.
