Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep of production equipment, electrical systems, and automation to meet KPI goals. You will handle machine conversions, repairs, PM, calibration, and ensure reliable operation.

This role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year in semiconductor environment; knowledge of vision inspection and related software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in semiconductor industry.
• Preferable with vision inspection and software/system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate machines to ensure uptime.
• Repair, PM, and maintenance activities as per schedule.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and procurement.
• Support production output and quality commitments.
