Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a production operator to operate machines, follow SOPs, and support continuous improvement on the production line.

You will conduct in-process inspections, record data, and escalate issues promptly while maintaining 5S and ESD discipline. This role requires basic education, ability to read instructions, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must follow written instructions accurately.
• Able to follow visual instructions and control plans.
• Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on shifts (if required).
• Good teamwork and positive attitude.
• Physically fit for standing and repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment following SOPs.
• Follow work instructions, control plans, and visual aids.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Record production data, defects, and abnormalities clearly.
• Escalate equipment issues, quality problems, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and compliance with safety rules.
• Comply with ESD, environmental regulations, and PPE.
• Support line balancing, changeovers, and CI activities.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and team members to meet goals.
• Adhere to quality requirements and defect prevention practices.
• Participate in safety talks, briefings, and training.
