Job summary

Kanry Search in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is hiring a Technician – Production Manufacturing. The role involves mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical assembly, with opportunities to work rotating shifts including night shift. Basic salary RM2,200–RM3,000; gross up to RM3,500–RM5,000 with OT allowances.

60 vacancies, full-time. You'll read engineering drawings, assemble modules, use hand and power tools, and ensure quality as per specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SKM or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in assembly, production, manufacturing or technician-related work.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation or high-tech manufacturing is an advantage.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools & basic measuring equipment.
• Able to understand basic engineering drawings & work instructions.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical & electro-mechanical assembly work.
• Assemble modules, components, wiring & pneumatic systems following work instructions.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOM & assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches & basic measuring equipment.
• Ensure completed assemblies meet quality & technical specifications.
• Identify assembly defects or non-conformance and report accordingly.
• Update production progress & work completion records.
• Follow ESD, cleanroom, safety & quality procedures.
• Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing & continuous improvement activities.
