About the Role
This is a full‑time position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all safety & security environmental measures of the client’s premises.
 
- Ensure that all security colleagues are working efficiently, personal grooming, hygiene, uniform, etc., are in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
 
- Arrange training for all security colleagues and induction for new colleagues in connection with security protection & procedures, fire prevention, etc.
 
- Prepare, organize, and present monthly and quarterly Business Reporting to Management, Leadership and the Clients.
 
- Ensure that the client and agent’s assets are always secure and safe.
 
- Coordinate and arrange all operational details of security and safety in connection with the client and its agents.
 
- Be responsible for and accountable for your Team/departmental operational budget.
 
- Find ways to improve the efficiency of security and safety operations that will benefit our colleagues and the client.
 
- Oversee and manage security officers and security guards to ensure a smooth daily operation.
 
- Ensure proper work shift scheduling, deployment, and rotation of security officers to meet client needs.
 
- Monitor site performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
 
- Act as the main liaison with clients to address operational requirements, feedback, and service issues.
 
- Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure high client satisfaction.
 
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate security officers and site supervisors.
 
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or corrective measures when needed.
 
- Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies, SOPs, and relevant statutory regulations.
 
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to uphold service standards and safety requirements.
 
- Oversee licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements for deployed staff.
 
Administration Management & Reporting
- Monitor site performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
 
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and leave records of security staff.
 
- Prepare monthly operational and manpower reports for management review.
 
- Support recruitment efforts for security personnel, including interviews and selection.
 
- Ensure proper reporting and investigation of all security incidents or emergencies.
 
- Provide timely reports to management and coordinate corrective actions.
 
- Conduct and monitor emergency drills, fire evacuation plans, and crisis response simulations.
 
- Review and update emergency response plans regularly.
 
Marketing and Business Development
- Strategy Development: Creating and executing a marketing and sales strategy to identify and target potential clients for security services.
 
- Lead Generation: Actively sourcing new project opportunities through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and responding to RFPs.
 
- Content Creation: Developing compelling marketing materials, case studies, white papers, and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition of the security services.
 
- Client Engagement: Conducting sales presentations and demos to prospective clients, acting as the primary SME to explain complex technical solutions in a business context.
 
- Proposal & Contract Management: Preparing detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, and negotiating contracts for new security projects and services.
 
- Market Analysis: Staying current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving cyber threats to position the services competitively in the market.
 
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Post‑university graduate in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
 
- Professional Diploma or Certificate in Safety and Security Management is an added advantage.
 
- 3 – 5 years of managerial‑level working experience in the security services industry.
 
- At least 3 years of Occupational Safety, Health & Environment work experience in the large‑scale service/hotels industry.
 
- Certified First Aider and certification from DOSH are added advantages.
 
- Sound knowledge of local laws, HR regulations, and culture.
 
- Good connections with local police and related authorities.
 
- Honest, self‑motivated, and good interpersonal skills.
 
- Eager, enthusiastic, and positive approach to work.
 
- Hard working with initiative, confident, responsible, and committed to the job.
 
- People management experience is crucial.
 
- Ability to conduct staff job training and seminars.
 
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve optimal performance.
 
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
 
- Awareness and sensitivity to the needs and wishes of the clients, with willingness to attend to the clients’ needs at all times.
 
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
 
- A team player with a proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
