About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Security Manager to oversee the security operations of a prestigious commercial building in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. As a contract role, this is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in building security management and make a meaningful impact on the safety and well‑being of our clients and their assets.

What you’ll be doing
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and procedures to protect the building, its tenants, and visitors.
  • Managing a team of security officers and coordinating their daily activities to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and implementing appropriate security measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Liaising with local authorities, emergency services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective emergency response planning and coordination.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of security equipment, including CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Generating detailed reports on security incidents and metrics to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Fostering a positive security culture and providing training and development opportunities for the security team.
Working Hours

Monday to Fridays: 7am to 7pm
Saturday, Sunday & PH: On Leave

What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a building security management role, preferably in a commercial or high‑profile setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of security principles, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of security professionals, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, including law enforcement, emergency services, and building tenants.
  • Familiarity with security technology and systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical skills.
  • Age: Must not exceed 50 years old.
  • Work Experience: Senior Ex‑Police / Ex‑Military.
  • Degree in Security Management with 5 years of relevant postgraduate working experience in security.
  • Well versed in security, KDN, OSHA/ JKKP, Building By Laws, Bomba regulation and requirements.
  • Good report writing skill.
