Job summary

Toppan Security Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Security Executive to implement, monitor, and maintain physical, operational and information security controls across the site.

This role ensures compliance with customer, regulatory and international security standards to safeguard sensitive materials, data and processes. You will coordinate with IT and production teams on access control, audits, incident response, and secure manufacturing procedures, while training staff and contractors on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Security Management, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in smart card manufacturing, secure production or high-security environments.
• Strong understanding of physical, procedural and information security controls.

Responsibilities

• Enforce physical security controls across secure zones (vaults, chip storage, personalization areas).
• Coordinate with IT teams on logical access control, password policies, and data protection.
• Investigate and report security incidents, breaches or non-conformities.
• Implement and monitor secure manufacturing procedures in line with approved SOPs.
• Prepare, maintain and update security documentation and logs.

Job description

The Security Executive is responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining physical, operational and information security controls within company. The role ensures strict compliance with customer, regulatory and international security standards to safeguard sensitive materials, data and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce physical security controls across secure zones (vaults, chip storage, personalization areas).
• Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally compliant workplace by implementing HSA policies, monitoring site activities and promoting a strong safety culture in line with legal and organizational requirements.
• Manage access control systems, CCTV monitoring, visitor management and employee access rights.
• Ensure secure movement, storage, and disposal of sensitive materials.
• Investigate and report security incidents, breaches or non-conformities.
• Implement and monitor secure manufacturing procedures in line with approved SOPs.
• Coordinate with other departments on security-related matters such as access requests and visitor management.
• Supervise security during critical operations such as personalization, key injection and card destruction.
• Maintain dual control and segregation of duties for sensitive activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, PCI and customer security requirements.
• Prepare, maintain and update security documentation and logs.
• Support and coordinate internal, customer and external security audits.
• Coordinate with IT teams on logical access control, password policies, and data protection.
• Monitor adherence to confidentiality and data privacy requirements.
• Assist in secure key management and HSM operations (as per authorization).
• Conduct security awareness training for employees and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to security policies across shifts and departments.
• Act as a point of contact for security-related queries on the production floor.
• Any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
