Job summary

Dentsu in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Analyst to support security controls testing across cyber and information security, and IT controls. You will work with technology stakeholders to assess design and operating effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and drive remediation to strengthen the control environment.

You will also contribute to clear governance reporting, share findings with senior audiences, and push for continuous improvements in assurance processes and ways

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, IT Audit, IT Assurance, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in controls testing and assurance, assessing design and operating effectiveness of cyber and IT controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging with technology stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST‑CSF, ITIL frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow IRM capability would be beneficial.
• Professional qualifications such as CISA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Security Controls Assurance & Testing: perform controls testing to assess design and operating effectiveness of cyber security and IT controls, document findings and recommendations.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Remediation: collaborate with control owners to understand deficiencies and plan remediation progress.
• Reporting & Governance: prepare reports and presentations on assurance activities, findings, and remediation status for governance and senior audiences.
• Assurance Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve assurance processes and testing methodologies.
