Job summary

A leading security services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced personal protection officer to provide security services for its Executive Chairman. Candidates should have a minimum of five years in a similar role, strong physical fitness, and good communication skills in both Malay and English. A Class D driving license is required. This is a contract position with responsibilities that include operating company vehicles and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven track record in bodyguard or personal protection services.
• Possess a valid Class D driving license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Provide personal protection services for the Executive Chairman.
• Maintain confidentiality of passenger information.

Job description

Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Provide personal protection and security services for Executive Chairman & President.

Maintain a high level of vigilance and situational awareness to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Act honestly, diligently and professionally to perform all duties to the best of ability and skill at all times.

Be responsible for upkeep of the car: keep the interior and exterior clean and tidy at all times.

Perform regular vehicle inspections and service, and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to meet all safety requirements.

Maintain high confidentiality of passenger information.

Able to work extra hours, weekend and public holiday if required.

Perform any other assignment as and when required by management.

Job Specifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM certification or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar capacity is required.
• Army or police experience is an added advantage.
• Proven track record in bodyguard or personal protection services.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Possess a valid Class D driving license.
• Familiar with roads and has a good sense of direction.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Pleasant personality with good communication skills in Malay and English.
