Job summary

A multinational financial services firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled financial analyst to oversee the analysis of financial reports and prepare consolidated financial statements monthly, quarterly, and yearly. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multi-national or public listed company. This role requires a team player capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Analyze financial information and reports from subsidiaries.
• Prepare group consolidated financial statements monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

Job description

• Analyse financial information / reports provided by subsidiaries, including study on current & past trend in key performance indicators
• Prepare group consolidated financial statement and supporting schedules on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Review current tax and deferred tax provision quarterly
• Prepare financial reports such as annual report, quarterly announcement report and other ad-hoc reports for management’s decision making process
• Liase with various business units on various finance related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g. ACCA/CIMA/CPA
• At least 5 years of experience in related field
• Working experience in multi-national company / public listed company is an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines, and willing to learn new skills
