Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Section Head, Method & BCM to support the effective governance, operational readiness, and resilience of the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing operational manuals, coordinating Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities, and managing assigned projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines, while strengthening operational processes and continuity preparedness across the organization.

What you will be doing
  • Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of all operational manuals in line with regulatory and internal policy requirements
  • Coordinate with relevant departments on the preparation, review, and timely updating of operational manuals, policies, procedures, and process documentation
  • Ensure operational manuals effectively support implementation and day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate Business Continuity activities in accordance with the Group Business Continuity Management (GBCM) framework and BNM requirements
  • Act as the Company’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordinator, including planning and coordinating BCM and DR tests
  • Organize BCM training and awareness programmes across the organisation
  • Maintain BCM and DR documentation and coordinate annual BCM testing, manual updates, and required BNM submissions
  • Plan, monitor, and control assigned projects to ensure delivery within approved scope, resources, and timelines
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support effective project execution and timely issue resolution
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to subordinates to enhance performance and service quality
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations, business continuity management, risk, compliance, or project management within financial services
  • Strong understanding of BNM regulatory requirements, particularly in Business Continuity Management
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and governing operational manuals and procedures
  • Proven project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical abilities
  • Leadership capabilities with experience in people supervision and performance management
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to governance and quality standards
