Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Secondary Science - Mathematics Teacher for i-City Shah Alam to plan, deliver and assess the IGCSE curriculum.

You will create engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and collaborate with staff, while supporting school activities. Diploma or Degree required; English proficiency essential; experience with IGCSE is an advantage.

This position is based in Shah Alam and may include other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in any field.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Experience delivering IGCSE syllabus is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare course materials such as teaching plans, homework, assignments, tests, and handouts for the subjects the teacher is responsible for.
Teach, evaluate and monitor students' progress taking into account students' individual education needs.
Be creative in lesson delivery to create an exciting learning environment for the students to stimulate their love for education.
Promote positive values in intellectual, moral, cultural, social and personal abilities in students.
Support school activities and functions.
Carry out particular professional duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Principal.
Participate in meetings on curriculum matters, administration, and organization of the school.
Any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
On occasions, for the benefit of the Company you may be required to undertake other duties as required by management.
