Job summary

TRACC is seeking an Accounts & Administration Officer at our island-based, conservation NGO in Sabah, Malaysia. We regret that this role is only available to candidates with legal rights to live and work in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple bank accounts and project financing.
  • Handle payments and invoicing.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting, monitoring and forecasting.
  • Oversee tax filings, financial deadlines and manage petty cash.
  • Process payroll and maintain HR records.
  • Maintain company filing systems, records & archives.
  • Manage SOPs and company documentation.
  • Liaise with company secretary, external accountant & auditors.
  • Process work permits, visa-related documents.
  • Handle government matters and operational licenses.
  • Provide administrative support to field teams and management.
Requirements
  • Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounts
  • Further experience in an administrative position an advantage
  • Proficient user of Accounting software, CRM systems and Microsoft office
  • Confident in both Malay and English; written and spoken
