Job summary

Seedflex Technologies Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Scrum Master with 2+ years of experience to lead agile ceremonies and coach teams on Scrum practices. You will also drive metrics in Jira, collaborate with QA and DevOps, and contribute to a compliant fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment (fintech/tech domain preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Jira and Confluence for workflow management, sprint tracking, and team reporting.
• Certification such as CSM or PSM I or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services or regulated technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to keep the team aligned and productive.
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is healthy and groomed, helping the team break down work and commit to realistic sprint goals.
• Identify and clear blockers (technical dependencies, third-party integration delays, environment issues).
• Coach the engineering team and stakeholders on Scrum/Kanban principles and engineering best practices.
• Track and communicate key delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, lead/cycle times) using Jira.
• Coordinate with other tech teams, QA, and DevOps to manage dependencies and support deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to keep the team aligned and productive.
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is healthy and groomed, helping the team break down work and commit to realistic sprint goals.
• Proactively identify, track, and clear blockers (technical dependencies, third-party integration delays, environment issues) that hinder the development team.
• Coach the engineering team and business stakeholders on Scrum/Kanban principles, engineering best practices, and collaborative ways of working.
• Track and communicate key team delivery metrics (velocity, burndown charts, lead/cycle times) using Jira to drive team performance improvements.
• Coordinate with other tech teams, QA, and DevOps to manage dependencies and support smooth deployment cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment (fintech/tech domain preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Jira and Confluence for workflow management, sprint tracking, and team reporting.
• Ability to keep meetings focused, resolve conflict constructively, and foster an environment of trust and transparency.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices (CI/CD, automated testing, microservices).
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent certification.
• Prior experience working within financial services or regulated technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: RM5,800.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
