Job summary

A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist to ensure accurate stock updates, monitor shipment schedules, and prepare transport expenditure reports. Candidates should have a degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum 1 years of working experience in a similar role (candidates with relevant experience will have an added advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all stock updates are accurately recorded on a daily basis.
  • Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and complete shipping coverage.
  • Record all receiving and issuing activities accurately, following the FIFO system.
  • Maintain store security, cleanliness, and proper storage conditions at all times.
  • Update and maintain safe stock levels according to supplier lead times.
  • Track, record, and monitor all transport expenses and vehicle maintenance costs.
  • Handle all SCM-related debit notes and coordinate with the Finance Department and customers.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on stock levels and transport expenditures.
  • Analyze current warehouse, stock, and transportation systems for continuous improvement.
  • Manage customs documentation and keep up to date with new regulations or requirements.
