Adecco Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to join our Technology & Information Architectures team on a global energy programme.

The role focuses on SAP BTP & S/4HANA security, SoD design, and hands-on security assessments, with close collaboration across IT and business teams. This 7-month contract is on-site in KL, offering a challenging project and opportunities to shape security practices.

Qualifications

• Expert in SAP security roles and SoD design.
• Proficient in SAP BTP Security.
• Experience with S/4HANA Security and EAI is a plus.
• Strong understanding of application security frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Review security requirements and integrate them into the architecture.
• Lead SoD-based SAP security roles and authorization design.
• Identify security risks in the application architecture and propose mitigations.
• Work with SAP BTP and S/4HANA security and EAI assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate security requirements.
• Share hands-on knowledge and contribute to security process improvements.
• Work independently and become a subject-matter expert in the team.

Job Title: Application Security Architect (SAP BTP & S/4HANA) | 7-Month Contract | Kuala Lumpur

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Architect to join a Technology & Information Architectures team on a global energy sector programme in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Review and integrate application requirements, including security requirements
• Review and integrate application security technical architecture requirements and provide input into final application security decisions
• Lead SAP security roles and authorization design for Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Identify potential security risks in the application architecture and propose practical mitigations
• Work with SAP BTP and S/4HANA security, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and application security assessments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are clearly communicated and implemented
• Share hands‑on knowledge with the team and contribute to continuous improvement of security processes
• Work independently and become a subject matter expert, contributing actively in team discussions

Required skills

• Expert-level SAP security roles and authorization design for SoD
• Intermediate proficiency in SAP BTP Security

Preferred skills

• Intermediate proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Security
• Intermediate proficiency in Application Security, EAI and Application Security Assessment
• Solid understanding of application security frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Eligibility

• Based in Malaysia with existing right to work in Malaysia
• Able to work from the Kuala Lumpur office full time for the 7 months 5 days contract
