Job summary

Celestica is seeking an SAP MM Analyst in Malaysia to provide daily support, troubleshoot SAP and its integrated systems, and ensure end-to-end business processes in an electronics manufacturing environment run smoothly.

The role requires strong knowledge of SAP MM, familiarity with SD, FICO, WM, and PP modules, and experience coordinating with IT and business stakeholders on solution delivery and project implementations.

Qualifications

Summary

This role is for an IT or SAP Analyst focused on providing daily support and troubleshooting for SAP and its integrated systems. It requires a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes within an electronics manufacturing environment.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Solid knowledge in SAP MM Module. Familiarity with other modules such as SD, FICO, WM, and PP is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of business processes, expert level business process skills are a strong advantage.
• Engage with business for the day to day operation and new business requirements.
• Work with various IT teams to develop and deliver IT solutions
• Respond to system problems by analyzing the issue and determining the next course of action.
• Support and communicate with stakeholders including IT/Business Partners as well for opportunities and or alignment of solution strategy
• Participate in and lead various IT projects as required
• Participate proposing solutions including requirements gathering, blueprinting, development and deployment
• Provide system training to end users
• Good ability to plan projects and tasks.
• Good analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation (including flow charting) and presentation skills.
• Understanding of an electronic manufacturing environment end to end process and SAP applications or any integrated system with SAP.
• Solid knowledge of the business area to be supported and a solid understanding of its associated business processes.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle concepts and practices.
• Knowledge/experience with application-to-application and business-to-business integration.
• Basic to good coding skills in SAP modules
• Understanding of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes.

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods depending on the business needs or as per requirement basis.

Typical Experience

6 to 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles

Typical Education

Bachelors Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience related to IT, Science Computer, Software Engineering.
