Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Understand and analyze business requirements related to SAP MDG and collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • Proactively own, promote, and improve the Global Template for ICT MDG.
  • Identify key business processes, address specific business needs, manage data governance requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive solution designs, considering scalability and efficiency, and maintain documentation processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Work with project teams to facilitate seamless integration and implementation of SAP MDG.
  • Conduct system testing to validate the functionality and performance of SAP MDG across Material, Product, Customer, and Vendor spaces.
  • Manage all aspects of change delivery for MDG via transports and client configuration.
  • Ensure development lifecycle is followed correctly by functional and technical resources (SAP transport management).
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or discrepancies, implementing optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Manager / Team

You will be responsible for executing and managing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP MDG, maintaining a strong technical understanding of SAP MDG, data governance principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance. You will work with stakeholders, liaising with the Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analysts, Functional and Technical Consultants (PLM, SAP, ECC, SFDC), and programmers during project implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP MDG.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation, enhancement, and/or support (L2/L3 experience is an advantage).
  • Experience in project and/or people management (Agile or other methodologies) is preferred.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices, including data management tools and technologies.
  • Experience integrating SAP MDG with other SAP or non‑SAP systems.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Skills & Education

Diploma required. Associate Degree/Diploma qualified.
