JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Team Lead oversees and guides the sales team to achieve revenue targets, drive market expansion, and strengthen client relationships across eLearning and HR Tech solutions. The role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands‑on sales execution. It also serves as a key link between management and frontline sales teams, ensuring alignment of goals and consistent performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to support skill growth and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and goal orientation.
2. Strategic Sales Planning
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals and product priorities.
  • Identify new markets, sectors, or client segments for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute campaigns supporting lead generation.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Support team members in high‑value negotiations and complex deal closures.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
4. Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Oversee CRM (e.g., Zoho) usage to ensure pipeline visibility and data integrity.
  • Prepare sales performance reports, forecasts, and insights for management review.
  • Monitor team metrics, conversion rates, and resource needs to optimize efficiency.
5. Market Insight & Business Growth
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  • Provide feedback to guide product development and service improvements.

  • Demonstrated success in consultative or solution‑based sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM and collaboration tools (Zoho, ClickUp, Miro Board, Office 365).
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regionally when required.
ADDED ADVANTAGE / TOOLS & PLATFORMS
  • Experience in LMS, HR Tech, or digital learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of pipeline management, sales enablement systems, and virtual facilitation tools.
