Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Support Representative on a 6-month contract. This role involves providing essential administrative and operational support for sales processes. Responsibilities include managing customer account administration, order processing, and communicating with various teams to ensure seamless operations. We are looking for a Sales Support Representative (6-month Contract) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth sales processes, accurate order management, and excellent customer service.

Impact You Will Make
  • Participate and undertake account administration for customers assigned by the Company
  • Enter, update and maintain spares sales orders and related transaction in ERP system
  • Be responsible for day‑to‑day administrative support, including preparing quotations, order processing (inclusive of warranty replacement and billable repairs), obtaining delivery schedule from factory, tracking issuing of P.O. by customers, tracking delivery and providing assistance to liaise with Customer and Finance on payment collection
  • Interface with order processing teams of other business units in other sites and countries
  • Act as back up for administrative support for customers assigned to other Sales Administrators
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly reports as required by the Department and Company, e.g., Sales Reports, OTD Reports etc.
  • Execute sales process and procedure in compliance with standard process and procedure spelled out by the company
  • Undertake additional tasks and duties, other than sales related, assigned by the Department and/or Company
  • Any other duties not listed herein could be assisted by the Department Supervisor or HOD from time to time
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written.
  • Pronounced customer focus
  • PC knowledge (Microsoft Office); advanced XLS skills are an added advantage
  • Experienced in the use of ERP preferably Oracle
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business/ Administration / Management, Marketing or equivalent
  • Preferred to be able to start work immediately
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
