Responsibilities
- Manage Personal Safety Division (PSD) portfolio penetration within key end user and distributor customers and drive key customer opportunities
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate and regional sales objectives
- Execute marketing plan by actively preparing sales through cold calling, networking, and initiating sales prospects
- Research and monitor competitor sales and marketing activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners, and actively develop relationships with target customers
- Maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all materials, communications and events
- Implement sales forecasting activities and achieve or exceed annual business targets
- Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars and trade association meetings to promote brand recognition in accordance with company objectives
- Provide Personal Safety Division portfolio training and support to both internal key stakeholders and external customers
- Work with total PSD sales representatives to drive and develop the business, converting leads into business
- Provide timely reporting into the CRM system
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Preferably majored in Science or Engineering
- New graduate is welcome
- +/- 5 years of combined experience in Industrial Sales and/or Safety Marketplace Sales; experience in sales of Personal Safety products (Personal Protection Equipment, Fall Protection, SCBA)
- Preferred experience in fall protection and Project Management
- Strong background in Key Account focused sales activity and exhibits strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience selling through various channels along with end‑user selling
- Demonstrated in‑depth understanding of product lines, customer segments, internal functional needs, and competitive products, pricing and policies
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with different stakeholders
- A self‑starter who can effectively work in a fast‑paced environment, manage change/ambiguity, and maintain a sense of urgency; possesses strong problem‑solving skill
- Experienced with MS Office and ability to understand technical diagrams (AutoCAD)
- Good presentation and communication skills; fluent in English and Bahasa
- Ability to influence, communicate, and negotiate across all levels in an organization
- Leverages working relationships with key people in accounts and/or distributors at all levels to exceed sales objectives
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
Location
Remote / Malaysia. This is a remote‑based role; however, candidates must be able to commute to the Penang office as needed.
