Job summary

Altera Corporation in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a highly organized Sales Service Representative to support Inside Sales and field teams across the Lead-to-Order process. You will manage orders, coordinate with multiple internal teams, and ensure timely fulfillment for direct and distribution customers.

You will build cross-functional relationships, support samples, and maintain dashboards to improve visibility and planning. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in Semiconductor business or related field.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English is required.
• Ability to develop clear understanding of customer requests and communicate them to a broad set of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete order lifecycle for direct, distribution, consignment, and sample customers.
• Serve as the primary liaison across customers, ISRs, distributors, and internal teams to enable smooth global operations.
• Oversee Altera Samples operations, including order management, delivery coordination, and university requests.
• Administer the Altera Samples Request Portal and ensure timely processing of returns and lead time communication.
• Coordinate production and sample schedules with internal stakeholders and Subcons.
• Manage all consignment-related activities such as shipments, returns, stock reconciliation, and buffer fulfillment.
• Support customer-related inquiries and processes, including procurement, licensing, shipping, and scheduling.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational visibility.

You will manage and execute customer and distributor orders, ensuring accurate, timely fulfillment to support Altera’s revenue goals.As a customer-facing representative, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Trade, Logistics, Pricing, and Quality Team to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently.
