We are looking for a driven and commercially savvy Sales & Marketing Senior Executive to fuel our business growth in the container haulage and logistics space. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter with a strong hunter mindset, who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and creating value-driven solutions for customers.

You will play a key role in expanding our customer base, strengthening long-term partnerships, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the Swift Group.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, customer analysis, and commercial evaluation.

Proactively engage prospects, build strong relationships, and convert leads into long-term customers.

Develop and propose tailored logistics and haulage solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.

Identify opportunities for service enhancements and new haulage solutions by monitoring port conditions, depot operations, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor pricing.

Support cross-selling of Swift Group services to maximise customer value and overall group revenue.

Participate in and manage sales tenders for container haulage, including pricing, costing, and quotation submissions in collaboration with internal teams.

Strategic Sales Planning & Execution

Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Prepare accurate volume forecasts to support haulage operations, capacity planning, and resource optimisation.

Manage assigned sales and marketing projects to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

Prepare and present customer and market update presentations at the monthly Group Marketing Meeting.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and responsive support.

Communicate service updates, operational changes, and value-added initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including ISO 9001 and HSEQ, to ensure consistent service quality and compliance.

Establish and maintain relationships with key industry players, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen market presence.

Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.

Develop data-driven sales forecasts and insights to support management decision-making.

Submit weekly sales activity and customer visit reports.

Prepare comprehensive monthly sales reports covering volumes, pipeline status, conversion progress, and growth opportunities.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain.

A strong existing network within the Malaysian logistics or industrial sector is a major advantage.

Highly self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven with a strong hunter mentality.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.

Must be willing to work at Bandar Sultan Suleiman, Port Klang
