THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN MUTIARA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA OFFICE.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow export markets, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.
- Identify, establish, and manage business relationships with distributors, importers, and food manufacturers.
- Achieve sales volume and margin targets in line with company objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and product movements to propose timely marketing and pricing strategies.
Customer Relationship Manager
- Serve as the key liaison for Arabic-speaking clients and partners.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up support to maintain long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Marketing & Promotion
- Represent KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd (KAEO) at international trade fairs (e.g., Gulfood, MIHAS, Saudi Food Show).
- Assist in developing marketing materials, promotional content, and product presentations in English and Arabic.
- Support branding and product positioning to enhance KAEO's image in international markets.
Strategic & Administrative Functions
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams for product planning and scheduling.
- Ensure all export activities comply with company policy, government regulations, and trade requirements.
JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the palm oil, edible oils, or Agri-commodity industry.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage export markets and work with multicultural clients.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Familiar with export documentation, LC terms, and international shipping procedures.
- Knowledge of global commodity pricing and trading mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
