We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the growth and strategic positioning of the Company within the Food & Beverage sector. This includes identifying new business opportunities, crafting innovative marketing strategies, and strengthening the Company presence in both existing and emerging markets in Klang Valley. The role involves financial evaluation, market analysis and active engagement with key stakeholders to align objectives, expand market reach and create sustainable value for the organization.
The Company is an oil and gas sales, marketing and distribution company with decades of oil and gas management team. The company has high potential growth and stability in expanding throughout Peninsula Malaysia and may include other goods and services while incorporating technology in the future. The company is currently focusing in the cooking gas sales, marketing and distribution growth.
(A) Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals, aligned with company objectives.
- Drive new business development and sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, cross selling, and upselling of our LPG business and used cooking oil trade especially industrial and commercial sales.
- Conduct and analyse market research to identify trends, competitor activities, consumer price.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue target through effectively develop competitive sales packages.
(B) Client Relationship and Retention
- Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve issues quickly to build and maintain good & strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients by offering commercial support.
- Oversee and execute client engagement plans and quarterly business review.
- Collaborate and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
(C) Sales Team Leadership and Management
- Monitor sales team performance and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded, maintain accurate records of all sales activities.
- Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback to sales team members.
- Lead the team and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results.
- Create and monitor sales team member individual KPI’s and incentive plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations and skills development, forster a culture of accountability, motivation, and collaboration.
(D) Operational Alignment
- Work closely with supply chain, logistic, Finance team to ensure alignment and execution of promptly delivery and collection.
- Monitor profitability, timelines, and client satisfaction for every delivery.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
- Management of Profit & Loss through stock forecast and controlling budget and expenses.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Oil & Gas, Food and Beverage Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, marketing strategy or sales, preferably in LPG business especially industrial and commercial sales.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and understanding customer acquisition costs.
- Strong expertise in market expansion, lead generation and capability development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a database of potential customers and leads.
- Exceptional analytical, problem- solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia and strong proficiency in spoken Mandarin is an added advantage, negotiation, energetic and persuasion skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in delivering impactful presentations to clients. computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Able to work independently, multitasking, work under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Team player with a positive working attitude.
- Must be able to travel outstation at short notice.
- Possess own transport.
- Able to work in a fast-pace working environment.
- Able to start immediately or within short notice.
- Able to work six (6 days) working day.
