Position: Sales Manager

Salary Package: Basic RM5,000 - RM8,000 + Commission

Working Location:

  • Ulu Tiram, JB
  • Port Klang

Company Background: Freight forwarding service

Working Days & Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm (Monday to Friday); 9.00pm - 1.00pm (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:

  • Exploring new customer to secure potential business opportunities.
  • Achieving sales target assigned by company.
  • Preparing the budget vs profit report for potential business opportunities.
  • Monitoring debtors aging report and collect the outstanding payment.
  • Preparing monthly Sales report - profit and loss report for management.
  • To build and lead a Sales team with direction.
  • Conducting suitable training for the team in sourcing and growing customer base.
  • Assisting customer service to solve any business related issues between customer and company.
  • Proposing the service and rate from service provider (Liner, Haulage, warehouse and etc) to accommodate the needs of the customer.
  • Day-to-day staff management and development including recruitment, hiring, performance coaching and annual reviews for direct reports all with full support of corporate office.
  • Determine current rates in the market place offered by competitors, ensure accuracy and timeliness of data in CRM and other programs as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3-5 years sales experience in Sea/Air freight, transportation and logistics.
  • Result oriented and self motivated person.
  • Able to lead a team of salesperson.
