A leading construction material manufacturer seeks a Sales Manager for the Southern Region based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the construction industry. Ideal applicants will possess at least five years in sales, preferably in construction chemicals or related fields. Excellent communication skills and a degree in a relevant field are required.

About the job Sales Manager - Southern Region

We are looking for a Sales Manager to work witha leading construction material manufacturer. The company carries a wide range of products including flooring solutions,roofing materials and services, construction sealants, glazing and gaskets, waterproofing systems, concrete admixtures and sealers and fire stopping systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with approved applicator for Flowcrete specified projects as well as convert competitors' specifications.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets assigned to you and significantly contributing to company's overall sales success (GTO).
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including contractors, developers, factory owners, architects, and government projects.
  • Work closely with specification team to ensure we grow our specification pipeline and further dominate the flooring market share in southern region.
  • Building and maintain strong relationships with applicators, key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related field sales experience within the construction chemicals, resin flooring, or building material trade.
  • Proven strong track record of success, including the ability to secure mega projects.
  • Highly goal-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of construction market trends and industry developments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be willing to be based in Pasir Gudang, Johor (Southern Region)
