A leading food ingredients company in Shah Alam is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of relevant sales experience, and strong skills in market analysis and relationship management. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager / Senior Executive to lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives in the food ingredients industry. This role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, expanding the customer base and building strong business relationships to drive revenue growth. Candidates with less experience may also be considered for a Senior Sales Executive role depending on suitability.
Develop and execute market mapping, sales planning and budgeting to meet sales and profitability targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular visits and account management.
Gather and analyze detailed market intelligence, including trends, pricing and customer requirements.
Identify and support new product development and business opportunities to expand market presence.
Oversee pricing strategies, gross margin achievement and market development initiatives.
Ensure regular reporting for sales performance and market insights.
Establish effective work systems and procedures within the Sales & Marketing function.
Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
A Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Food Ingredient or a related industry.
Strong market knowledge of related products and customer needs in Malaysia.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin; knowledge of ERP is an advantage. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
