Airswift is seeking a Sales Manager for a leading Industrial Extrusion Component Manufacturer.

Reporting to the Managing Director in Singapore, the Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and managing distributor relationships across selected ASEAN markets (e.g., Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia).

This role involves overseeing direct sales activities, budgeting, and building strong customer and distributor accounts.

There will be occasional travelling required for the role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Sales & Account Management: Develop and maintain key customer and distributor relationships, support product specification, address technical inquiries, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key account progress against targets, manage project pipelines, accounts receivable, and sales forecasts while identifying new market opportunities.
  • CRM & Pricing Strategy: Maintain CRM data, analyze competitor pricing, manage selling prices and margins, and ensure timely follow-up on projects through completion.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary contact for customers, provide feedback to management on product and site issues, and ensure exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and actively promote the company’s interests within the region.
  • Team Competence & Compliance: Ensure team compliance with company policies and legal guidelines, and implement competency development programs.
  • Process Improvement: Introduce tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and collaborate with global teams for continuous improvement.
  • Resource Management: Optimize company resources to achieve sales and profitability targets aligned with the annual business plan and budget.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain trust‑based relationships with business partners, customers, peers, and relevant authorities.
Job Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in regional sales management within a technical or industrial environment, preferably in the extrusion and ancillary equipment sector.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing sales strategies, business plans, and targets for the Asia market, ensuring adaptability to market dynamics and delivering sustainable growth in revenue and profitability.
  • Solid understanding of sales fundamentals, including customer focus, market insights, organizational structures, processes, and methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience in people management and direct customer engagement.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams in a dynamic, sales‑driven environment.
  • Skilled in influencing and driving change, with the capability to persuade stakeholders, peers, and customers effectively.
  • Familiarity with industries such as Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Plastics/Polymers, Food Processing, and Plastic Recycling.
