Position Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and implementing the sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base. The position requires a dynamic professional who has a passion to grow his/her sales career. The position reports to an experienced VP, Sales who will be responsible to nurture and develop the Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Driving market penetration in key geographies and end-market segments, emphasis on new customer acquisition and increasing Share-of-wallet.
- Support the Sales Leader in developing strategic and tactical plans; and effectively executing them to achieve goals. Monitor progress and adjust plans, as necessary.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to Sales Leader.
- Elevate existing customer relationships with key accounts.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify and seize new opportunities to grow our business, effectively communicating the value of company offerings both strategically and financially to key customers.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer’s business (strategy, market position, goals, etc.) and curate product and service offerings to create more value for them.
- Ensure that we deliver “Exceptional Customer Experience” by working across several functional areas (Production Planning, Customer Care, Logistics, Quality, etc.).
- Monitor KPIs and share company's performance against SLAs / Targets with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing and Product Development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company’s Market/Customer strategies.
- Grow new overseas business opportunities.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision making.
- Should currently be working in a Sales role, with responsibility of developing country/regional sales and focusing on customer experience.
- The candidate should be confident in building, growing and deepening customer relationships.
- Has strong interpersonal skills and with the ability to engage and build deep-lasting relationships with customers/partners and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at senior levels of the organization.
- Strong command over oral and written English language, highly developed presentation skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct B2B sales. Experience gained within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals or industrial products industry, would be preferred.
- Highly numerate with Honours Degree from reputable Universities. Candidates with tertiary education such as MBA and/or command of other European languages would be desirable.
