As an Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager, you are a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. You would be responsible for representing the hotel’s services and facilities to prospective and existing clients in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Job Overview

As an Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager, you will represent the hotel’s services and facilities to prospective and existing clients, delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manages a portfolio of clients in accordance to designated account distribution.
  • Initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients in B2B negotiated market segments (FIT and groups).
  • Responds to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
  • Conducts property site visits.
  • Prepares proposals and contracts for the hotel, adhering to established SOPs and in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals.
  • Cooperates with other departments in the hotel, particularly Reservations and the Banqueting Department, to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Warm personality with team spirit.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in hotel or any other relevant industry preferred.

  • Overseeing Bayview Hotel Langkawi & Bayview Hotel Melaka.
