A leading technology firm located in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and execute channel and distribution strategies across South East Asia. The role involves identifying and recruiting channel partners, conducting market analyses, and managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong sales management experience and be skilled in lead generation and relationship building. This position offers an opportunity to drive sales targets while supporting partners in reselling technology products.
Develop and execute channel and distribution strategies for South East Asia to achieve company sales objectives and profitability targets.
Identify, recruit, and develop new channel partners, system integrations, and project opportunities for Matica products across the region.
Conduct market and prospect mapping, including identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential customers to assess needs and present Matica's products and solutions, including product demonstrations.
Enable and support partners in reselling Matica's desktop and central issuance hardware, software, and services.
Generate qualified leads through multiple sources in close collaboration with the marketing team.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through regular engagement with channel partners, integrators, and solution providers.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationship through regular visits, structured communication, and sales reporting.
Consult with partners to understand their business models, market positioning, and growth opportunities, and jointly develop go-to-market strategies.
Develop and deliver sales presentations that clearly articulate the value of Matica's solutions in relation to customer requirements.
Support partners in preparing business proposals and customers presentations, coordinating with internal technical and operational teams to ensure full solution coverage.
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, guiding customers from initial engagement to closing while delivering high-quality reporting.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Matica's product portfolio, pricing, sales strategies, and delivery and installation policies to respond effectively to customer inquiries.
Leverage marketing initiatives, campaigns, and industry events, including trade shows and conferences, to increase brand visibility and market presence.
Monitor and communicate the impact of new product releases, features, delivery schedules, and competitor activities to internal sales teams.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of pricing, opportunities, and sales activities in company systems.
Prepare and maintain reliable sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
Use best efforts to achieve annual sales targets set by the Company for each fiscal year.
