Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Compensation Analyst to administer and analyze sales incentive compensation plans. You will validate commissions, provide performance insights, and support compensation strategy. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales compensation or financial analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with sales compensation software are required.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales compensation, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Prior experience in a corporate sales operations, finance, or HR compensation role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and analyze sales incentive compensation plans.
  • Calculate and validate sales commissions and bonuses for accuracy.
  • Provide reporting and insights on incentive performance and payout trends.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to optimize compensation models.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support plan design changes and assist in compensation strategy reviews.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis, validation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and other analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with sales compensation software (e.g., Xactly, CallidusCloud, Anaplan, Varicent) is a plus.
  • Understanding of sales compensation structures, including commission plans, bonuses, and SPIFFs.
  • Ability to interpret and apply compensation policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience in sales operations, finance, or related fields is a plus.
