Job summary

A leading sales company in Southeast Asia is seeking an individual to develop a business plan and sales strategy focused on markets in China and Malaysia. The ideal candidate has experience in sales and marketing, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in English is required, and the role involves managing Key Accounts and developing relationships with overseas distributors. The position may require travel throughout the Asian region. Responsibilities
  • With the Director, develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability whilst upholding leadership position within the market.
  • Responsible for selling products in China and Malaysia.
  • Identify overseas market opportunities and plan for overseas tradeshows.
  • Direct management and accountability for all overseas Key Accounts.
  • Provides monthly reporting as required to Director regarding performance.
  • Be the Technical interface between the customer and company in order to increase sales, gain new business and gain market share.
  • To establish and develop professional business relationships with overseas.
  • Prepare sales budget and analysis, achieve sales target and monitor P&L.
Qualifications
  • To be based in Thailand.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • An Engineering qualification would be an advantage.
  • Experience in sales and marketing.
  • Experience in managing overseas distributors growing distribution.
  • Experience in organizing, managing and evaluating trade shows.
  • Be able to travel in the Asian region.
  • Must be a career focused, driven individual with the drive to succeed, and make it happen.
  • Confident & self-motivated, with strong analytical skills and global business sense; able to work independently and under pressure.
