A recruiting agency in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive/Senior/Assistant Manager for electronic components. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of B2B sales experience, particularly in manufacturing. Responsibilities include conducting market research, building customer relationships, and managing payment processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and applicants should be willing to travel as required.
Conduct customer research by reviewing information such as demand, pricing, production details, quality conditions, and competitor activities.
Research market trends and updates through various news sources and information channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through meetings, entertainment, and other engagement methods.
Provide customers with useful information and market insights.
Deliver required information to customers promptly.
Regularly share relevant and valuable information with all staff.
Obtain up-to-date and accurate information from HQ and the market.
Proactively promote to R&D customers.
Regularly track and monitor promotion status.
Arrange technology meetings between customers and the design team.
Organize Technical Exchange Meetings or mini CEATEC events with customers.
Prepare accurate sales budget based on customers’ business plans, related sales data, and other relevant information.
Create precise sales estimates and input Cyunittei using customers’ forecasts and sales data.
Monitor actual delivery status through the system and coordinator updates.
Adjust delivery schedules through discussions with customers and HQ PC PIC.
Support coordinators in daily delivery operations.
Resolve pricing issues through negotiation with customers and management.
Address quality issues by obtaining accurate information from customers, sharing it with QA, and ensuring prompt corrective actions.
Manage excess stock issues by reviewing stock conditions and discussing solutions with customers.
Handle financial issues through negotiation with customers and the Accounting Department.
Support the Accounting Department by providing debit and credit details and ensuring timely payment collection.
Periodically check actual payment conditions through outsourced services when necessary.
Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in manufacturing industries.
Sales experience in semiconductors, electronic components, or machinery industries.
Possess a valid driver’s license and own a personal car (able to travel as required).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience working in a Japanese company is an advantage.
