Job summary

A leading oleochemical company in Malaysia is seeking a sales professional to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will develop sales strategies, conduct market research, and ensure project delivery in the livestock nutrition sector. Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Job Success Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in animal feed or agricultural products would be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of livestock nutrition, feed formulation and farming practices.
  • Familiarity with raw materials used in animal feed and their nutritional profiles.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. Able to speak and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess own transport and willingness to travel as needed.
Additional Notes / Desirable Skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience with international sales and export processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the oleochemical industry.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
