We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our Sealant & Bonding (S&B) Division, focusing on distribution channels within the FMCG sector. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring brand visibility in key hardware, retail and consumer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Retail Sales Growth: Develop and grow sales of Tekbond sealant and bonding products in B2C channels. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Retail Channel Development: Identify new retail partners and expand product presence across consumer outlets. Support initiatives that improve reach and accessibility of TEKBOND products within key B2C segments.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers, distributors, and retail merchants. Provide product recommendations, handle customer inquiries, and ensure high levels of satisfaction with TEKBOND’s service and support.
- Store Visits & Field Execution: Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to ensure proper product placement, shelf visibility, and execution of promotions. Resolve stock issues, optimize planogram compliance, and monitor on-site competitor activities.
- Sales Reporting & Market Intelligence: Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, territory updates, and forecasts to the Sales Manager. Gather market feedback and customer insights to identify new opportunities and support decision-making.
- Order & Stock Management: Manage customer orders and follow up to ensure timely deliveries. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to monitor stock levels and support smooth product distribution.
- Team & Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Manager, including administrative tasks, reporting, and event coordination. Assist with any additional assignments as required to support overall sales operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within FMCG or related industries.
- Prior experience in B2C sales or working with consumer channels is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Mandarin, English, Malay, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and a team player with a strong sense of accountability.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region (must possess own transport).
