Job summary

A logistics company in Batu Pahat is seeking a Sales and Business Development Executive. Builds business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with clients.

Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry and researching and analyzing sales options.

Sells products/services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.

Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities (recommending profit and service improvements).

Identifies service improvements or new service by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, bench marking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements
  • Minimum SPM / Diploma / Degree or its equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year experience in sales / marketing / business development role with proven track records.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; speak in Mandarin will be advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is a pre-requisite.
  • Possess own transport with D license and willing to travel to do sale.
  • Self starter, independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
