Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in related fields
- Proven experience in sales, customer service or related field
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships
- Result-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Good presentation skills and confidence in engaging with clients
- Basic Computer skills (MS Office, any software knowledge is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional languages are an advantage)
1. Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and secure new clients (FMCG, multinational, corporate, retail, malls, etc.).
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Prepare sales strategies to achieve monthly targets (e.g., RM2.5M team quota / RM300K individual quota).
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to build trust and secure repeat business.
- Understand client needs, budgets, and timelines to propose tailored event/creative solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients – handle concerns, queries, and feedback professionally.
3. Proposal & Presentation
- Work closely with designers and event executives to develop proposals, decks, and quotations.
- Present creative event concepts, POSM solutions, and campaign ideas to clients.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules to close deals.
- Secure signed contracts and ensure deposit collection before project kick-off.
- Liaise with internal teams (design, event, procurement, fabrication) for smooth project handover.
- Attend pre-event briefings and on-site visits when required.
- Ensure scope, deliverables, and budgets are aligned with client expectations.
5. Reporting & Performance
- Track and update sales activities in CRM / reporting system.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to Head of Sales / Management.
- Achieve KPIs (sales revenue, number of new accounts, repeat business ratio).
6. Professional Development
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
- Continuously improve pitching, negotiation, and client servicing skills.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings.
